I have to leave Riesse...=(

Tomorrow is the 1st day of the conference and I am leaving Riesse with a much trusted friend...Wendi. I am sooo apprehensive. I have never left any baby of mine before one year...and never for such a long time span 6am to 10pm for 3 days in a row. I have been kissing her and loving her and cuddling her all day. I keep saying I love her over and over again...I think the guilt might take over. I know this is important, but it is just so hard. =(

BTW did you notice the big girl is sitting up all by herself...sometimes she falls, but she is getting pretty good at it. A new development this week...along with another tooth, that makes 2.

Finally

Riesse hates tummy time, but she is strong...too bad we didn't know because she was always miserable on her tummy. Kelli put her on her tummy today and look what she did. All of a sudden she looks much bigger than before.

Day 154...

I am very excited to announce that Riesse is 5 months old today! I cannot believe how much she has grown. She is a very accomodating child, and she rarely cries. Now she weights almost 17 lbs which means she is in 9-12 month clothing. The doctor assured me that this is ok because she is big, and proportionate. I love her blue eyes, and her cuddling. It truly is inspiring to hold any baby, especially one of my own. I can hardly wait to see her crawl, but I guess first she needs to sit up all on her own. Don't you just adore that fuzzy hair? It's one of my favorite blessings from her.

Riesse isn't too interested in Banana's but she will eat them. She makes funny faces when she is doing it. She did eat most of the jar, despite the funny faces.
